SCHOOL ADOPTION AND AUTHOR PRESENTATION SERVICES

Multicultural Publications is pleased to announce the continuing adoption of academically deficient schools throughout the U.S. which have been identified, declared and designated as being in a state of academic emergency.

In addition, we offer availability of our Author Presentation Series for all institutions of learning, service oriented organizations and agencies, hospitals and health care providers.

Services include slide show/audiovisual presentations on manuscript development, authoring and publishing books, book dramatization and mascot introduction, entrepreneurship and group discussion for all ages and grade levels.

Educational Consultant Bobby L. Jackson, a noted Author of educational books for children for more than sixteen years and an award winning educator (1995 Akron Public Schools Elementary Division Teacher of the Year) motivates students and educators around the country during entertaining presentations and half-day teacher workshops by:

* sharing his successful teaching strategy;

* weaving hip-hop music and rap into story-telling of modern day fairy tales like his Little Red Ronnika;

* introducing life-size dancing mascots...characters from his Boon The Raccoon and Easel The Weasel fable.

Jackson has taught at the elementary, secondary and college levels; he has served as an instructor at the University of Akron. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in 1988 and a Master of Science in Education degree in 1990 from the University of Akron (Akron, Ohio).

Our mission is to provide adopted schools with access to adequate resources, meaningful networks and enriching opportunities. In working with the schools and other organizations, our goals include intended exposure to multicultural experiences, fostering increased academic performance, production of autonomous, self-directed learners and promoting the psychological well being of our students.
